I am here to serve and mentor you to WIN and to be FIT for your Kingdom Assignment: mind, body and spirit with a purpose of adding significant value and growth to you in all facets of life.  

Over the past 30 years, I have worked in arenas where I have equipped, empowered, ignited and activated many people, whether in ministry or business to excel in life, to accomplish their individual or corporate goals concerning:  personal, career, fitness and/or ministry. I am currently a Dietitian/Nutritionist with ~25 years of experience, worked in management all the way to Senior Healthcare Executive for ~30 years, Certified Health Coach, Weight Change and Behavioral Change Specialist and a Pastor with a Doctorate in Biblical Studies. I have ~25 years of experience as a Consultant – MyHeart2u Professional Nutritional Consulting Services and have worked and served in many healthcare arenas. 

Always remember, this is all about you! On your journey there will be challenges, distractions, and temptations to not fully engage, don’t listen to that voice but listen to the stronger voice that says, YES, I CAN!  I encourage you to show up, be fully present, ask questions, complete assignments and challenges, interact in our Facebook group and with me as your Kingdom Coach along with your fellow P.H.A.T Chics on a consistent basis.

RevItUp! & PHAT Chic by God’s Design is a new approach to living well. It looks at metabolism first-how the body works-and why the traditional way of “doing diets” isn’t enough. Your body as a car, your metabolism the engine, and food and fluid its fuel set up the analogy that runs throughout the program. It is progressive from week to week, building on the principles learned in a step-by-step approach. It’s user-friendly, simple in presentation but complex in its power to change a person’s perspective of living well. Consider this program your driver’s manual, full of instructions, suggested tools to use, and reminders to guide you along the road. You can understand what your body’s signals mean and how to respond. You can know the signs of wear and tear, when to slow down or speed up, and when a tune-up is necessary. 

It is a program that initiates one change at a time, creating a different way of thinking about the body and its relationship with food and exercise. A program that encourages each person to own the changes he or she creates – and most importantly, maintain those changes. May your journey lead you to a healthier lifestyle, a more confident mindset, and a life well-lived!

The benefits include improved energy, decreased food cravings, increased awareness of your hunger and fullness cycles, more productive metabolism, with weight changes resulting from increased muscle and decreased fat. Self-confidence in your ability to live well increases, and guilt surrounding food and fitness decreases. Most importantly, you will gain ownership of your body AND the changes it is capable of making. The mission of Rev It Up for Life is to empower you to change from the inside out:  understand how your body works, find hope in your body’s ability to change, feel confident in yourself and your body again, and live well – strong and balanced – through nutrition and fitness education. 

The program is divided into twelve weeks. It is designed to be progressive and realistic, with each week building on the previous week’s lesson. The first half of the program incorporates the 4 “F’s: Foundation, Food, Fluid and Fitness. For a more effective metabolism, all three areas of Food, Fluid and Fitness must work side by side. However, the Foundation that supports your changes in these Food, Fluid and Fitness habits must be strong and stable. So, each week gives you an opportunity to work on all FOUR “F’s” by presenting a Foundation, Food, Fluid AND Fitness challenge on which to concentrate your efforts. The second half of the program emphasizes only one different “F” each week, concentrating on more advanced behavior changes as you continue “revving it up”. Regardless of the number of challenges, you always have the freedom to decide how far you take each one. 

The program’s analogy is based on the following:  Your body is your car, your metabolism is your engine, your food and fluids are your fuel sources, and the training is your driver’s manual.  RevItUp! Is a program written by a dietitian for dietitians and can only be taught by a dietitian.

PHAT Chic! By God’s Design was born as an idea that I had about myself as I learned to love me and declared boldly that’s I’m E.N.O.U.G.H. (Empowered Now to Obtain Unleashed Greatness Healthfully)!  I don’t fit the typical model of a dietitian/nutritionist and on several occasions, I would tease my clients to break the ice and say, “I’m your reality dietitian because I deal with people who live in the real world and ready for real change.” This simple phrase would allow the client to relax and open the door of transparency so we could work on a plan together that they felt comfortable with.  I say that because this is how a lot of people perceived this position. The model of a dietitian/nutritionist was normally a small petite, white female with bouncy blonde hair. I’m laughing out loud because, I definitely don’t fit that mode.
